Dr Geza Vass

Dr Geza Vass is an experienced Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatrician who provides dedicated, compassionate care for newborn infants and young children. Specialising in the medical management of vulnerable neonates, including those born prematurely or with complex health conditions, he is committed to delivering high standards of clinical care. Dr Vass works closely with parents and families, offering clear guidance and reassurance throughout every stage of a child's early medical journey.

Dr Vass completed his foundational medical education at Semmelweis University of Medical Sciences in Budapest, Hungary, where he earned his Medical Degree. Following his initial medical qualification, he completed a PhD in Respiratory Medicine and underwent specialist postgraduate training in Paediatrics in Hungary. He subsequently relocated to the United Kingdom to undertake advanced specialist training in Neonatal Medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr Vass has developed expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques and critical care management for neonates. His clinical areas of focus include point-of-care ultrasound scanning, functional echocardiography, and neonatal functional haemodynamics. Additionally, he possesses significant knowledge in managing respiratory conditions in newborns and directing intensive care support for extremely preterm infants.

Recognising the emotional sensitivity involved in neonatal and paediatric care, Dr Vass emphasises holistic, family-centred healthcare.
