Dr. Ravi Kumar is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician with more than 2 decades of experience as a consultant and a further 14 years of Paediatric experience prior to that. His expertise includes the diagnosis and management of a wide range of paediatric conditions as listed below
Dr. Kumar practises privately at Spire Dunedin Hospital on Bath Road in Reading, where he offers his expertise in general paediatrics. He received his specialist registrar training in the Oxford Deanery and joined the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading as a Consultant Paediatrician in 2002.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kumar is passionate about education and training in the field of paediatrics. Over the last 18 years, he has held various roles in education and training. He has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and he teaches medical students from Southampton & Oxford Medical schools. He is an advanced life support instructor. He serves as a Senior Royal College Examiner for MRCPCH for Paediatric Trainees. His dedication to paediatric care and education makes him a respected figure in his field.

My daughter is very quiet and shy yet he managed to engage with her and she felt energized after both visits. He explains things very clearly and the visit did not feel rushed at all. I definitely would recommend Dr Kumar.
