Dr Gabrielle Lipshen

Dr Gabrielle Lipshen is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert medical care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in both acute and community paediatrics, Dr Lipshen is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care that supports the physical, developmental, and emotional well-being of every child. Her approach combines thorough clinical assessment with clear, reassuring guidance for parents and carers, ensuring that every young patient receives individualised care tailored to their specific needs.

Dr Lipshen completed her medical education at Cambridge University and the University of Wales College of Medicine. Following her initial medical qualification, she undertook extensive postgraduate training across major medical centres in Cardiff, London, and the North West region. Throughout her career, Dr Lipshen has remained actively involved in medical education and multi-agency clinical training to maintain the highest standards of child healthcare.

In her clinical practice, Dr Lipshen has developed focused expertise in managing both common and complex childhood conditions. She has a particular clinical interest in paediatric bowel disorders, such as chronic constipation and soiling, as well as lead clinical responsibility for supporting children with visual impairments. Furthermore, Dr Lipshen serves as a Designated Doctor for safeguarding children, providing expert guidance on child welfare, multi-disciplinary care coordination, and complex health presentations.
