Dr Fiona Taylor

Dr Fiona Taylor is an accomplished Consultant Medical Oncologist and Clinical Lead specialising in the comprehensive care of patients diagnosed with cancer. With extensive expertise in managing thoracic and breast malignancies, Dr Taylor delivers evidence-based systemic anti-cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, targeted treatments, and immunotherapy. Her clinical approach centres on providing personalised, compassionate care tailored to each individual patient's treatment journey.

Dr Taylor earned her primary medical degrees, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc). She subsequently achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and completed her higher specialist training in Medical Oncology in August 2017. Demonstrating a strong commitment to translational cancer research, Dr Taylor undertook a three-year doctoral research programme focusing on lung cancer and circulating tumour DNA, culminating in the award of her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2018.

Beyond her core clinical duties, Dr Taylor actively contributes to advancing oncological care through clinical trials and medical research. Her primary areas of clinical interest encompass breast cancer, lung cancer, molecular profiling, and the practical application of circulating tumour biomarkers.
