Dr Faruk Abu is a highly dedicated Consultant Medical Oncologist who specialises in providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals diagnosed with cancer. With a clinical focus on medical oncology, he is committed to delivering advanced therapeutic options tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Dr Abu works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of evidence-based treatment and supportive care throughout their therapeutic journey.

His clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of oncological treatments, with a particular interest in thoracic oncology, including the management of non-small-cell lung cancer. Dr Abu is actively involved in utilising modern systemic therapies such as chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy to treat solid tumours. Dr Abu obtained his primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from the University of Ilorin in 2005. In addition to his clinical duties, he is passionate about medical education and professional development, serving as a mentor and Resident Doctors Lead to help train the next generation of oncology specialists.
