Mr Dushan Thavarajah

Mr Thavarajah is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon with a passion for providing expert, individualised spinal care using the latest techniques.

Mr Thavarajah studied medicine at University College London, qualifying in 2006. He undertook specialist training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in the Wessex Deanery, gaining experience in all of the spinal surgery units within the region. To further enhance his skills, he pursued advanced fellowships in complex spinal surgery at prestigious institutions, including locations in Hong Kong, Southampton, Exeter, and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. His dedication to professional development is evident in his being awarded the British Association of Spine Surgeons and British Scoliosis Society President's travelling fellowship. This prestigious award allowed him to visit and learn from leading spinal centres across the UK.
