Mr Nick Boyle

Mr Nicholas Boyle is Consultant and Specialist Laparoscopic Surgeon in London.

He qualified from Southampton University before completing his post-graduate training at Guys and St Thomas' hospitals .He was awarded a Master of Surgery degree by London University for his research into blood flow in the stomach and gastro-intestinal tract. Following this, he undertook further laparoscopic training at the Minimal Access Training Unit in Guildford. In 2000 he was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon to Maidstone and Tunbridge and led the gastro-oesophageal cancer surgery team for a number of years.

Mr Boyle discontinued cancer surgery in 2008, focusing his practice on benign upper GI pathology, the laparoscopic treatment of abdominal wall and groin hernias and gallstones. Over the last ten years he has developed a clinical interest in the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. He established and leads the first multi-disciplinary team dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with reflux. He has extensive experience implanting LINX devices for gastroesophageal reflux disease.

In his spare time he enjoys cooking, wine, travel and riding horses, competing at a very amateur level as a one day event rider.
