Dr Julian Ormerod is a consultant cardiologist based in Oxford. He sees patients with all types of known or suspected heart disease and has particular subspecialist interests in inherited heart disease and implantable devices.
Julian is the clinical lead of the Oxford Inherited Cardiac Conditons service and he is an honorary senior clinical lecturer in the University of Oxford.

Qualifications
Julian Ormerod trained in medicine at Cambridge and Oxford Universities; he was awarded a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine by the University of Birmingham. He is a consultant cardiologist in Oxford University Hospitals and is the clinical lead of the Inherited Cardiac Conditions service. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and of the European Heart Rhythm Association. He is a certified Cardiac Devices Specialist.
