Dr Dawkins treated me with respect and consideration. He took the time to explain the procedure clearly and in language I could understand. When I did seek clarification on anything I didn’t quite understand or remember properly he was quick to reply to any messages, giving me the reassurance I needed. He was never dismissive of me no matter what the question! I was confident going into the procedure as a result and the outcome has been truly life changing for me.

From the outset, I found Dr Dawkins professional, approachable and informative. At my initial consultation, he showed me on screen and talked me through the problem with my leaky mitral valve. He then explained the mitraclip procedure he recommended for me. I saw Dr.Dawkins on admission where he once more explained the procedure he would carry out and talked me through the risks but reassured me that they were rare. I saw Dr Dawkins post op and again the following morning and both he and I were pleased with the result of the procedure. I have made a full recovery and have seen Dr Dawkins for follow up. Dr Dawkins friendly manner which puts one immediately at ease and I would thoroughly recommend him.

Dr Dawkins undertook my paravalvar closure procedure in August 2020. He spent a long time explaining the technique and answering all my questions thoroughly.
