Dr Deepak Joshi is a Consultant Hepatologist at the Institute of Liver Studies at King's College Hospital and Guthrie Clinic. He qualified from King's College in 2001 and went on to train in hepatology at the Institute of Liver Studies. He obtained his PhD degree from the same institute studying the predictors of fibrosis in patients following liver transplantation. During his training at the renowned University College London Hospitals, Dr Joshi developed expertise in endoscopy and ERCP, both adult and paediatric. Dr Joshi is the adult lead for liver transition services at King's College Hospital and clinical lead for HPB medicine.
Dr Joshi's main clinical interests include treatment and management of liver pathologies, biliary disease and pancreatic conditions. He specialises in liver disease, liver transplant and cirrhosis.
Dr Joshi has a keen interest in clinical research and has co-authored a number of pier-reviewed papers and book chapters. He is a co-author of 'hepatology at a glance'. He is also a Clinical Lecturer at King's College London.
