Dr Andrew Souter

Dr Andrew Souter is a consultant in anaesthesia and pain medicine. They offer a pain service as well as practicing as an anaesthetist. Dr Souter qualified from Edinburgh University before undertaking further training in anaesthesia.

They then completed a fellowship diploma in pain management in Dallas, Texas. Dr Souter is highly interested and motivated by their involvement in the management of pain problems in patients. Some long-term pain conditions are relatively straightforward to manage, and can be quickly and effectively treated with safe, well evidenced interventions such as spinal injections. Persistent pain can require a more complex holistic management plan.
