Mr. Danny Ly is a certified functional medicine nutritionist and experienced personal trainer with over 10 years of experience in the health industry. Initially working as a personal trainer, he later became the director of one of London's most successful body transformation studios. In this role, he has assisted numerous clients in achieving successful long-term weight loss, muscle building, behaviour change, and overall physical, mental, and spiritual improvement.
Danny's extensive experience working with clients seeking body composition improvements has led him to specialise in supporting individuals with metabolic diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes, as well as digestive health conditions like IBS.
His certifications include Active IQ Level 3 in Personal Training, Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist from CNM, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner from FMU, and Certified Diabetes Educator from IDF.
As a lifelong eczema sufferer, Danny's personal journey with health challenges fuelled his interest in nutrition and functional medicine. This interest evolved into a passion as he encountered more clients facing chronic health issues alongside their weight loss goals.

Working with Danny for 4 months was life changing. He is incredibly knowledgeable which makes sticking to the diet easier as he explains everything clearly, including the reasoning behind the changes. Danny is so supportive and really wants you to do well, he is definitely someone you want in your corner if you are trying to manage your weight. The weekly check ins were a good way to stay on track and keep that accountability going.

I’m having to dial down my raving review for Danny. You simply wouldn’t believe it and mistake it being a fake post(!) Danny practically changed my life towards nutrition and training. Ever so meticulous, engaging and most importantly caring. He really goes above and beyond to personalise nutrition and training, and somehow - in a good way - manipulates this as part of your life. Rather than lecturing or forcing it on me on a 12-week programme, Danny very studiously engaged a part of me that inspired training and nutrition for life rather than as a temporary place hold - not many people can do this! Danny is someone more than a trainer or a nutritionist, he becomes your champion - and the guys armed with ALL the knowledge and more. He knows some funky house beats too!

Danny is great to work with. I am discovering a lot of bad habits and issues that I have had for years disappearing the further we go into the program. I am also gaining enough knowledge to be able to make informed decisions about my nutrition and health that I would have not been able to before. As a coach, Danny is approachable and understanding with some really niche issues unique to me, as well as being adamant that I learn rather than simply be given a set of instructions to follow (which I value a lot). Danny is an absolutely phenomenal nutritionist and trainer! I’ve worked with Danny for a few years now and have been astonished with my progress. I came to Danny with an inactive and unhealthy lifestyle and the desire to change. I lost around 15kg and hit personal milestones like completing my first half marathon and being able to execute 6 unassisted pull-ups. He is an incredibly patient, knowledgeable and friendly coach who can help you achieve your fitness goals.
