Dr Claire Ross

Dr Claire Ross is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate, comprehensive healthcare for women at every stage of life. Her clinical practice encompasses general obstetrics and gynaecology, with a strong focus on delivering timely and empathetic care. Dr Ross regularly manages acute medical conditions, emergency gynaecology consultations, and early pregnancy services, ensuring that patients receive rapid access to diagnosis and reassuring support when they need it most.

Her clinical interests cover a broad spectrum of reproductive health services. Dr Ross provides specialist management for recurrent miscarriage, dedicated family planning, contraception counselling, and options for the termination of pregnancy. She also offers general healthcare assessments, including routine well woman checks, cervical smear tests, and diagnostic gynaecological ultrasound. Furthermore, her practice encompasses sexual health, reproductive medicine, and retroviral medicine, allowing her to deliver holistic, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's individual needs.

Dr Ross completed her undergraduate medical training at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree with distinction in clinical sciences, alongside a First Class Honours degree in physiology with maternal and foetal health. She subsequently completed specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology across London. Alongside her clinical duties, Dr Ross has held key leadership roles, including serving as a Clinical Director in gynaecology and reproductive healthcare, and she remains actively engaged in medical research and clinical education.
