Professor Ranjit Akolekar

Pregnancy scans with Dr Ranjit Akolekar are absolutely lovely. He talked us through everything we were seeing. He is extremely thorough and patiently scanned every aspect of baby without rush. He shares pictures at end of the scan both digital and print outs which is really nice memory to bring back. He is super qualified and we felt reassured and comfortable in his care.

My scan was carried out with such care and attention to detail, and everything was explained clearly, thoroughly and in a way that made me feel completely at ease. We had an excellent experience with the team at the Pregnancy Clinic. We attended whilst I was having early pregnancy complications as we did not want to wait for the NHS EPU appointment which was over a week away. I was able to get an appointment very quickly at the clinic with the Professor. From my early scan through to the follow-up blood tests and communication around the results, everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and supportive. Professor took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made us feel at ease during what has been a very difficult time. The care was thorough and compassionate throughout, and we never felt rushed. Their support made a difficult time much easier to navigate. We would highly recommend the clinic to anyone seeking early pregnancy care (or beyond). We hope we can use the clinic again in the future.
