Ms Ayeshah Gordon-Dixon

Ms Ayeshah Gordon-Dixon is a highly skilled surgeon specialising in general and colorectal issues. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 2003 and her medical degree (MBBS) in 2008 from St George’s University of London. She began her career as a junior doctor in London, gaining her MRCS and securing a position in higher surgical training.

Her training included a year at Basingstoke, a leading global centre for pseudomyxoma peritonei treatment, followed by five years in the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex deanery. Ms Gordon-Dixon has received several accolades, including the Royal Society of Medicine’s colorectal travelling fellowship (2014) and recognition as an outstanding trainee (2018, 2019).

Ms Gordon-Dixon was appointed a Consultant Surgeon at Medway Maritime Hospital in 2022, where she leads the emergency operating theatre service, nationally commended in 2024. She is also the surgical lead for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), with a specialist focus on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Ms Gordon-Dixon is JAG-accredited in lower GI endoscopy and performs keyhole surgery for gallbladder removal, hernia repairs, and benign colorectal conditions. She combines meticulous attention to detail with a holistic approach to optimise outcomes for her patients.
