Mr Sanjoy Basu is described as professional, friendly, and caring. He clearly explains procedures, like bilateral hernia operation, making patients comfortable and at ease. Patients value his meticulous approach, clinical diagnosis, and reassurance for successful outcomes. The most common themes involve laparoscopic gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy) and inguinal hernia procedures.
Mr Basu understood my concerns and I was able to see home very promptly. The investigation was also organised quickly accommodating my schedule too. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Thank you
Dr Basu was lovely and very calm. Providing me with all options.
Mr Basu had a very good 'bedside manner' and explained everything to me in detail before my bilateral hernia operation. He was friendly and very professional in his approach and did an excellent job. He was very good at my post op follow up appointment explaining the op and longer term recovery. He was very pleased with the operation and my recovery to date and I was happy the he discharged me from his care. I would recommend Mr Basu and The One Hospital for surgical procedures.
Mr Basu was amazing from start to finish making me feel very comfortable
Mr Basu was attentive and friendly. He took the time to explain the situation clearly.
Made me feel completely comfortable and explained everything in detail
Very efficient and to the point. Very thankful for Mr Basu and what he has done for me.
When I first met Dr Basu, I was physically unwell and had lost a lot of weight over a short period of time. I was really scared due to not knowing what was happening to me. Dr Basu was very kind, caring and reassuring in his approach with me. He took the time to listen to me, and give me the reassurance I needed. He immediately knew that I had been misdiagnosed as having GERDs and didn’t need to continue the medication that the NHS kept prescribing me. He spent time explaining what he felt was going on for me and provided a clear treatment plan which also involved referrals for further tests. All of which took place within two weeks of me first seeing him. Dr Basu is very experienced and knowledgeable, he knew what was wrong with me from that first consultation. All of the tests I had all confirmed his original clinical diagnosis. The impact he has had on my life has been huge and I can not thank him enough.
