Dr Audrey Ryan

Dr Audrey Ryan is a compassionate Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive healthcare tailored to the individual needs of women. With a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, she supports individuals through all stages of maternity and gynaecological health. Dr Ryan places a strong emphasis on establishing open communication and a reassuring environment, ensuring that every patient feels listened to and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Ryan earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) from the University of London (Royal Free Hospital) in 1994. She subsequently completed specialist clinical training across London, the South West, and Wessex regions. In 2000, she obtained the Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP), followed by membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2001. To expand her expertise in preventative women's healthcare, she achieved membership with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) in 2007.

Her primary clinical interests include maternal medicine, perinatal mental health, and the management of complex medical conditions during pregnancy, such as diabetes and pregnancy wellness for individuals with an elevated body mass index. Dr Ryan has extensive experience developing multidisciplinary care pathways that seamlessly integrate physical and psychological support for expectant mothers. She also provides specialised pre-conception counselling, post-birth care, and routine gynaecological evaluations.

Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, Dr Ryan remains dedicated to advancing clinical standards and medical education within women's health. Whether managing high-risk pregnancies or offering specialised gynaecological assessments, her evidence-based and holistic approach helps empower women to make informed decisions regarding their personal health and well-being.
