About Dr. Fady Atalla
Mr Fady Atalla is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with a specialist interest in endometriosis and minimally invasive surgery. He currently practises at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital and Musgrove Park Hospital (NHS), and will be joining The Winterbourne Hospital in the upcoming months.
Mr Atalla graduated with an MB BCh from Ain Shams University in 2005 and went on to complete an MSc in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Cairo University in 2009. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience working in British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE)-accredited centres, where he developed advanced expertise in complex laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
He provides comprehensive care for women with endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, adenomyosis, and chronic pelvic pain. In addition to advanced laparoscopic surgery, Mr Atalla offers a broad range of outpatient procedures, including diagnostic hysteroscopy, MyoSure polypectomy, NovaSure endometrial ablation, smear testing, endometrial biopsies, and coil insertions, performed under local or general anaesthesia as appropriate.
Mr Atalla also performs laparoscopic and abdominal hysterectomies, laparoscopic sterilisation, and excision of vulval and vaginal lesions. He has a particular interest in subfertility associated with endometriosis and in providing effective, minimally invasive contraceptive solutions, including permanent sterilisation.

Dr Atalla performed a total hysterectomy leaving my ovaries, I met Dr Atalla at a gyne appointment a few months ago and was put at ease straight away after being sent pillar to post he understood and he listened! I was more than happy when he said he would perform the surgery! Today again he communicated and made me feel so comfortable and at easy, he woke to me straight after the surgery then again later on in the evening making sure I was okay! Very professional and over all good experience with Dr Atalla

Great experience up until the actual surgery - dr fast stalls was very friendly and helpful throughout but in the day everything felt rushed and I didn’t feel listened to. The communication on the day of surgery was also pretty poor I was left waiting for about 5 hours before being taken in and then the whole process after that felt extremely rushed.
Dr Atalla was incredibly kind and caring, he put me at ease because I was very nervous. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions.
I had a laparoscopy performed by Dr Fady Atalla back in March, so I am now 8 weeks post operation. Dr Atalla has a fantastic beside manner and gave me clear explanations pre and post operation. I also have healed really well and am feeling really good post Op. Thanks Dr Atalla!
