I was very concerned about getting my results and the doc patiently explained all the findings and set my mind at rest. He explained some of the more complex thoughts and how by asthma could easily have been mistaken for another condition. Can't thank him enough for his enthusiasm, the passion he has for his subject and compassion for his patient.
easy to make appointments via his excellent secretary Zoe. Dr Singanayagam is very approachable, empathetic and extremely responsive when communicating test results in between appointments. Clear advice given in easy to understand language. Exudes knowledge and experience.
I found Dr Singanayagam, very helpful and went into a lot of detail, which I appreciated.
Dr Singanayagam listened to my concerns with interest and put me at ease, answering all my questions. Professional and empathic
Dr Singanayagam has been exceptional throughout every stage of my care, from my first consultation to diagnostic tests and follow up appointments. He is incredibly thorough, understanding, supportive and kind and always takes the time to listen attentively. He explains everything clearly in a way that is easy to understand and always looks for solutions to better manage symptoms. His reassuring and compassionate approach genuinely makes you feel well cared for and confident in your treatment. He also referred me to other specialists where needed which helped in my diagnosis and care. I’m very grateful for the support I’ve received and very happy I chose Dr Singanayagam for my care.
I first went to see Dr Aran Singanayagam privately in November 2025. He prescribed me new medication for my Bronchiectasis and COPD. I have been clear of lung problems since then and I am very grateful for his help.
Dr. Singanayagam was friendly and professional. I was nervous about the whole process and if I should even be there, but he made me feel at ease. I felt very cared for. He listened to me and took me seriously.
I took my 81 year old father to see Dr Aran recently. He's got asthma and COPD and has had a very hard time recovering from a dose of Covid and then Adult Whooping Cough - blue lips, breathless, coughing, fatigued, etc. His GP refused to send him to lung specialist so we felt we had no option - we needed a professional opinion. Firstly his secretary and all the people who work on the reception desk in the private section at Harefield are exceptional - highly professional and also they seem to genuinely care. One lady - Linda - was helping my father in and out of chairs as if he was her father - I was very touched. And their nurses have taken blood from my Dad twice without him feeling it or the usual massive bruising he usually gets. Dr Aran is polite, unassuming, professional, an expert in his field and all round very nice person. He listened kindly and carefully to myself and my father, ordered some tests (without over ordering and I'm impressed that the Harefield doesn't over charge) and managed to diagnose my Dad with Emphysema (which had been missed by the NHS!) and an allergy to black mould which was exacerbating his breathing issues. We have a clear plan of how to proceed, with contingencies. We couldn't be more delighted or grateful. He's a credit to himself and his profession and we feel reassured to know my Dad is under his care now. Not being able to breathe is pretty fundamental to life! Sincere thanks to Dr A and his team. All the best, John & Liz.
