Dr Andrew Rowland is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to infants, children, and young people. Operating with a patient-centred approach, he specialises in safeguarding young individuals and addressing complex paediatric health needs. In addition to his direct clinical work, Dr Rowland holds prominent national leadership roles in child protection policy and healthcare education, ensuring that the safety, rights, and overall wellbeing of children remain at the heart of clinical practice.

Dr Rowland completed his medical education at the University of Nottingham, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with First Class Honours in 1998, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2000. Continuing his academic commitment to child welfare, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree focusing on children's rights, law, and advocacy in 2020.
