Dr Andrew Lau

Dr Andrew Lau is an accomplished Consultant Head, Neck and Thyroid Surgeon and Otolaryngologist who provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery (ENT/Otolaryngology). With a dedication to achieving the highest standards of clinical excellence, Dr Lau evaluates and treats both routine otolaryngological issues and complex surgical conditions affecting the head, neck, and thyroid region. He maintains a compassionate, patient-centred approach, ensuring individuals receive clear explanations, tailored management plans, and reassuring guidance throughout every step of their treatment journey.

Dr Lau earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours alongside his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of London in 2006. Following his primary medical qualification, he completed higher surgical training in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery, alongside advanced post-qualification research and interface fellowships dedicated to head and neck cancer surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, holding the specialist FRCS qualification in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

In his clinical practice, Dr Lau possesses extensive expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of benign and malignant head and neck conditions. His primary areas of focus include thyroid surgery, parathyroid procedures, salivary gland surgery, and the investigation of neck lumps. Additionally, he manages complex airway disorders, laryngology cases, acute ENT emergencies, and standard ear, nose, and throat complaints.
