Mr. Amr Gehad is a highly experienced consultant in gynaecology, urogynaecology and obstetrics at Homerton Hospital and Spire London East Hospital. He has over 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology gained from working in some of the busiest hospitals in Egypt and the UK. He undertook his initial training in Egypt, where he completed his medical degree and specialty training before moving to the UK to gain further experience.

His broad training and experience have enabled him to effectively manage benign gynaecological conditions, with specialisation in pelvic floor disorders such as prolapse, urinary incontinence, and sexual dysfunction. He is also experienced in the management of fibroids, menstrual problems, ovarian cysts, mild to moderate endometriosis and menopause symptoms.

He has vast experience in hysteroscopy, having performed over 1,000 procedures. He has also performed hundreds of hysterectomies in addition to thousands of other gynaecological surgeries. He is highly experienced in the surgical management of gynaecological issues.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Gehad also teaches medical students at Anglia Ruskin University and Queen Mary School of Medicine. Additionally, he is a faculty member of the Basic Practical Skills Course at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, where he delivers training to junior doctors and midwives. He is also a Homerton Trust Appraiser of other Doctor's performance. He is also a panel member in national recruitment system of obstetrics and gynaecology training.
