Mr Amr Gehad

Mr Amr Gehad is an experienced specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a strong clinical and academic background. He qualified in medicine from Cairo University in 2000 and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Ain Shams University in 2007. He was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2013, reflecting his advanced expertise in women’s health.

Mr Gehad currently practises at The London Independent Hospital and Spire London East Hospital, where he provides comprehensive care across a wide range of gynaecological conditions. His areas of expertise include pelvic floor disorders such as prolapse, urinary incontinence, and sexual dysfunction, as well as the management of fibroids, menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, mild to moderate endometriosis, and menopause-related symptoms. He has extensive procedural experience, having performed over 1,000 hysteroscopy procedures and hundreds of hysterectomies.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Gehad is actively involved in medical education. He is an Honorary Senior clinical Lecturer and teaches medical students at Queen Mary School of Medicine, as well as serves as a faculty member for the Basic Practical Skills Course `and Examiner at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, training junior doctors and midwives.
