Dr Alexander Leff

Dr Alexander Leff is a distinguished Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Cognitive Neurology specialising in the assessment and rehabilitation of cognitive and neurological conditions. His clinical practice focuses on supporting patients affected by acquired brain injuries, stroke, and complex neurological conditions that impact cognitive function, speech, and visual processing. With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, Dr Leff works closely with individuals and their families to deliver tailored neuro-rehabilitation strategies aimed at restoring independence and enhancing daily quality of life.

Dr Leff completed his undergraduate education at the University of London, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1991, before earning his primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from University College London in 1993. Demonstrating a lifelong commitment to academic rigour and scientific advancement, he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by the University of London in 2003. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), reflecting his high standing within the British medical community.
