About Dr Bhavini Patel
Dr Bhavini Patel is a Consultant Neurologist based in London, UK. Having graduated from Guy's, King's, and St Thomas' School of Medicine in 2004 with an MBBS and a BSc in Neuroscience, she went on to work in various district general hospitals before passing the MRCP exams in 2007. She joined St George's University of London in order to conduct her research into diseases affecting the blood vessels in the brain, after which she continued her specialist neurology training at St George's Hospital.
Dr Patel also completed specialist training in Stroke Medicine at St George's Hospital, and has been a dual certified Consultant Neurologist there since 2015. With additional interests in the causes and treatment for headaches and general; acute neurology, including the running of weekly headache and general neurology clinics, she is well equipped to advise on a range of neurological symptoms.
She is also on the British and Irish Association of Stroke Physicians Clinical Standards Committee, involved is guiding stroke care across UK.

Dr Patel, was very clear about my diagnosis and confirmed in detail what my next step should be. Dr Patel was very kind and patient explaining what must be done.
I was seen on time. Immediately put at ease by the doctors friendly manner. She explained everything I needed to know and was very personable and extremely knowledgeable.
Dr Patel was really kind and I felt like she cared, we put a plan in place and I was really happy with the result of the consultation.
I went to the consultation with my son --Sahan. We felt at ease as soon as we entered the room. Bavini helped me to remove my coat, handbag etc. I thought this was a great gesture. she listened to us carefully and did some physical tests and finally asked whether I could come up with a n episode that really hit me. Sahan helped me here. she diagnosed me having Parkinson Disease. She prescribed a medication and referred me to Physiotherapy.. The way she explained and the possible side effects was admirable.. I am 76 years old and during this life span I have come across countless number of consultants.. Bavini comes on top. She is very pleasant knows very well to empathise and sympathise. -- main ingredients for a patient to get better. WE WISH YOU LOTS OF GOOD lLUCK FOR THE FUTURE,
