Dr Wynne Leith

Dr Wynne Leith is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Neonatologist based in London, United Kingdom. Serving as a Clinical Lead in neonatology, he focuses on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to newborns, infants, and young children. His practice encompasses general paediatric care alongside highly specialised support for sick and premature babies, helping families navigate the critical early stages of child development with reassurance and clear guidance.

Dr Leith completed his undergraduate medical degree and specialist paediatric training in South Africa, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) as well as the Fellowship of the College of Paediatricians of South Africa. Following senior clinical roles overseas, he relocated to the United Kingdom to continue his consultant career. Beyond his direct clinical duties, Dr Leith is actively involved in postgraduate medical education, training junior doctors, midwives, and neonatal nursing teams, while participating in clinical research and audit initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care.

With a deep clinical interest in neonatology, Dr Leith specialises in care of the newborn, with a focus on neonatal respiratory support and advanced resuscitation methods. His clinical work includes intact cord resuscitation for preterm infants, high-dependency newborn care, and the management of neonatal conditions such as neonatal jaundice. In addition, he provides antenatal counselling for parents facing complex foetal diagnoses, including antenatal renal pelvis dilatation, ensuring families receive supportive and structured guidance prior to delivery.
