Ms Vidya Tamhankar

Miss Vidya Tamhankar is a Consultant Gynaecologist. Miss Tamhankar can offer investigations and plans for the assessment of infertility. She specialises in laparoscopic and hysteroscopy procedures for both assessment and improvement of fertility. In addition, she provides individualised treatment plans for couples, dependent on their specific cause of infertility.

Miss Tamhankar also offers ultrasound scan assessment and treatment for pelvic pain, menstrual irregularities and endometriosis.

Miss Tamhankar completed her specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the South Yorkshire region. She also completed a fellowship in Assisted Conception & IVF from Jessop Fertility. In addition, she spent two years studying the impact of emotional health on the success of IVF, which led to the award of an MD degree by The University of Sheffield. She is also an Honorary Lecturer at The University of Sheffield and has actively been involved in training medical students and junior doctors.
