Mr Karim Abdallah is an exceptional consultant gynaecologist in Sheffield, who specialises in endometriosis, menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts and general gynaecology. He attends to patients at both Claremont Private Hospital and BMI Thornbury Hospital.
Mr Abdallah is a highly skilled Minimally invasive gynaecological surgeon. He is specialised in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery accredited by the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy.
Mr Abdallah is specially interested in the medical and surgical management of Endometriosis. He is a BSGE accredited Endometriosis surgeon. Mr Abdallah's expertese extend to the diagnosis and management of a range of common gynaecological conditions including irregular,, heavy and painful periods. He is also an expert in the management of ovarian cysts, fibroids and PMS.
When not attending to patients, Mr Abdallah dedicates a large portion of his time to educating the next generation of gynaecologists. He is an honorary senior lecture at the University of Sheffield and a medical appraiser at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. He leads a range of training courses for young gynaecologists.

As always Dr Abdallah was polite, friendly and explained everything really well. He has been so helpful through the whole process since I have been under his care. He is a real asset to the hospital and I will be sad although relieved that his treatment has come to an end.

I was very disappointed with my appointment with Dr Abdallah. As a women’s health doctor I expected him to be more sympathetic towards my symptoms. Instead, I paid £250 to be told that I needed to “preserve” and that come to terms with the fact I would never get an answer. I won’t be recommending him in the future, nor Thornbury Hospital because or it.

Dr Karin Abdallah was amazing from start to finish, he took the time to explain everything and I really felt like he listened to me. It was one of the first times I felt like I didn’t have to fight to be heard. I’ve gone from being in pain all day everyday to next to no pain and I’m so happy to have my life back!!!
