Mr Sahana Olety

Dr Sahana Olety is a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester with over 15 years of experience. She completed her medical degree at Bangalore University, India in 2000. She later moved to the UK to complete her specialist training in psychiatry, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2007. Dr Olety completed her postgraduate certificate in medical education at Edge Hill University in 2013, followed by her postgraduate certificate in medical leadership & management in 2015. She also holds a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine from the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. In 2021, she was awarded Fellowship status with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Dr Olety has been practicing as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the NHS since 2012. She has vast experience managing a wide range of mental health, behavioural and emotional problems in children and young people, including the following:
