Dr Daniel Kaitiff is a highly-experienced Consultant Psychiatrist and has worked in a number of specialities including General Adult, Older adult and liaison Pyschiatry

Dr Kaitiff has a medical degree, is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatry and is section 12 approved. Further to this he previously has experience of working in Research within phase 1 and 2 clinical trials.

Dr Kaitiff has over 15 years' experience as a General

and Older Adult Psychiatrist. He is an excellent facilitator of information, assessment and diagnosis, and offers a range of treatment options for his patients, including both pharmaceutical and therapeutic support.


Dr Kaitiff offers assessment, treatment and medication reviews for all his patients as required, and has developed his training in a range of therapeutic treatments; Systematic Family Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Knowledge & Understanding Framework for Personality Disorders.


Dr Daniel Kaitiff is an advocate for the understanding of mental health, believing medical conditions are often long-lasting, and the goal of successful treatment is for an individual to be autonomous throughout their life and not require considerable health input.

He has completed courses in leadership, family therapy and psychotherapy, and it is his vision and aim, to provide patients and their families, with enhanced levels of care, combining medical treatment, with other treatment approaches, as well as equipping families with the tools necessary to fully understand the nature of the diagnosis, the holistic treatment plan and the broad approach to optimizing function and quality of life for their loved one moving forwards.

For 17 months I had the worst anxiety ever, so I bit the bullet and looked for a psychologist but one that could prescribe ,as I could not go on feel the lowest I have ever been, and wow 2 months later am feeling like myself again he actually listened to me I can’t thank Dr Daniel kaitiff enough.
