Dr Haitham Nadeem

Dr Haitham Nadeem is a Consultant Psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience in the assessment and treatment of a broad range of mental health conditions. He specialises in general adult psychiatry and substance misuse psychiatry, providing evidence-based care tailored to each individual's needs.

Dr Nadeem graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Saddam College of Medicine in 1994. He went on to obtain Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2003 and completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Leeds. He has also contributed to psychopharmacological research at the University of Oxford, strengthening his expertise in the use of medication for mental health conditions.

Dr Nadeem has extensive experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma-related conditions and personality disorders. He also has specialist expertise in the assessment and management of adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance misuse, alcohol and drug dependency, and dual diagnosis, supporting individuals experiencing both mental health conditions and substance use disorders through personalised treatment and recovery plans.
