Dr Sylvia Brown is a highly dedicated Consultant General Surgeon who specialises in emergency and colorectal surgery. With a patient-centred approach, she provides comprehensive care for a wide range of surgical conditions, ensuring that individuals feel reassured and fully supported throughout their treatment journey. Her clinical practice encompasses both elective and emergency surgical procedures, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and compassionate care.

Her primary areas of clinical interest include surgical oncology, specifically the diagnosis and management of bowel cancer (colorectal cancer). Dr Brown is also highly skilled in performing emergency laparotomies and laparoscopic procedures, such as hernia repairs. Dr Brown completed her undergraduate medical education, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
