Dr Shilpa Kolhe

Dr Shilpa Kolhe is a Consultant Obstetrician and Consultant Gynaecologist dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care in women’s reproductive health. She focuses on delivering patient-centred consultations, ensuring individuals receive clear guidance, empathetic support, and personalised treatment plans. Her practice prioritises women’s health across various stages of life, promoting early intervention and comprehensive gynaecological care in a supportive environment.

Dr Kolhe completed her primary medical degree at Mumbai University in 1997 before pursuing postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which she completed in 2000. She subsequently undertook postgraduate specialist training across the South Thames London Deanery and the East Midlands Deanery. In 2006, Dr Kolhe obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

In her clinical practice, Dr Kolhe has established expertise in ambulatory gynaecology, rapid access emergency care, and early pregnancy assessment. She has a particular clinical focus on the management of heavy menstrual bleeding and the implementation of one-stop diagnostic models. Her expertise encompasses a range of minimally invasive procedures, including diagnostic hysteroscopy, operative hysteroscopy, and endometrial ablation. Dr Kolhe remains committed to enhancing rapid access pathways to ensure patients receive prompt, effective diagnostic evaluations and treatment.
