Mr Amer has been my gynaecologist for 10 years now and he is the kindest, most understanding, supportive consultant I could ask for. Thanks to him we have our little girl and we will be eternally grateful.

My experience with Mr Amer has been very positive from the start. The aspect that stands out for me the most with Mr Amer is that I feel his care; in that he is connected to his heart in the work he does and that makes all the difference to me as a patient who is undertaking one of the most terrifying experiences in life (diagnosis and surgery). Mr Amer took the time to explain, to show his care during each stage of the process and I felt informed and supported the whole way through. Mr Amer clearly has the skill of managing a busy and demanding role, alongside giving his attention to his patients. For me, this meant that I could be with this process as authentically as possible which I believe has supported me to heal the endometriosis. I saw Mr Amer privately due to the current NHS waiting lists, and I am very pleased with this decision. At initial appointment, I felt my case was slightly dismissed because I did not fit the typical disease description. However, I went ahead with full diagnostics/treatment and overall I am very happy with the outcomes and care I have received. I felt I was in very good hands throughout the process. He is good at explaining things, and is very patient when asked a lot of questions. I have recovered very well from my procedure and I will return to Mr Amer without hesitation if I ever need treatment again in future. I would recommend him to others who may require his specialist knowledge.

Mr Amer was very professional, polite, understanding and helpful. He very quickly understood my problem (I had a massive fibroid). We discussed options and I trusted his advice and I don't regret it after going for that option. I stayed in hospital for 9 days and he visited me every day including Saturday and Sunday and I just had a bit higher temperature only. I highly recommend Mr Amer to ladies who has fibroids and wants to have a hysterectomy.
