Dr Shaun McGowan

Dr McGowan is a consultant gynaecologist. They have a particular interest in the management of endometriosis, fibroids and heavy menstrual bleeding.

They offer vaginal ultrasound, diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy. Dr McGowan also offers laparoscopic minimal access surgery as well as open surgery if required.

Dr McGowan has been involved in research on the management of severe endometriosis and has published on a number of topics as first author in peer-reviewed journals. They have presented on many occasions at a national and international level.
