I can’t recommend Mr Bhattacharya highly enough. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, providing clear, thoughtful advice that gave me real confidence in my healthcare decisions. His responsiveness and efficiency were exceptional, and he worked proactively to ensure everything progressed as smoothly and promptly as possible, even while I was receiving care within the NHS hospital system on the lead up to my surgery. Throughout the process, he was reassuring, approachable, and always willing to answer questions. My surgery and recovery were handled with great care, and the entire experience felt far less stressful thanks to his expertise and support. What stood out most was his dedication to his patients—he made himself available whenever needed and was incredibly generous with his time and guidance. I felt genuinely cared for every step of the way and am extremely grateful for the outstanding treatment and support I received.
Dr Bhattacgarya provided a first class service from initial consultation to discharge. Surgery was completely painless. Would recommend without hesitation.
Very friendly, attentive and caring and explained everything patiently and in detail pre and post op. His availability to answer my concerns by text / phone in the days post op was certainly going beyond the call of duty.
Dr Sayan was excellent explained everything in terms I could understand and was very attentive when I described my symptoms
Very skilled and accessible at all times while preparing for the forthcoming surgery
As I had never had an operation before we found it difficult to pick a consultant for my hernia operation but after going into the details of each consultant Mr Bhattacharya stood out for us with the number of hernia operations that he had performed and also that he teaches, it was the best decision as I have been delighted with my care. Mr Bhattacharya was very warm and professional at all times and rang me the morning after my operation to see how I was and made a couple of suggestions to help with my recovery and I found them very useful.
An excellent surgeon, procedure went well and I have recovered quickly. Concise in his explanations and didn’t beat around the bush.

Thanks, I wonder if everything was fine, where did the review score reduce? Maybe a system error?
From initial consultation to being “signed off” a very enjoyable experience with every effort made to explain at every stage. Very much appreciated.
Gave great care, professional and patient would not hesitate to recommend
Saw me quickly, explained the need for surgery and the procedure. Operated quickly
Great colleague
