Dr Sanjay Sinha

Dr Sanjay Sinha is an accomplished Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who serves as a Clinical Director in women and children's healthcare services. He provides comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to the individual needs of women across all stages of life. Dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, Dr Sinha combines extensive clinical expertise with an empathetic approach, ensuring patients feel supported, respected, and fully informed throughout their care journey.

His areas of clinical focus encompass both general gynaecological care and specialised procedural interventions. Dr Sinha has particular expertise in gynaecological oncology, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, colposcopy, and cervical pathology. In addition, he possesses extensive experience in advanced labour ward practice and reproductive healthcare. Through a commitment to modern, minimally invasive techniques, he aims to optimise patient outcomes and facilitate smoother recovery times for women undergoing surgical procedures.

Dr Sinha completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Calcutta Medical College in 1996, followed by initial postgraduate study in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Calcutta. He subsequently undertook higher specialist training in Scotland, completing his training alongside earning a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO) and a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH). A Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), Dr Sinha maintains active memberships with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, and the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland.
