Dr Sally Pollard

Dr Sally Pollard is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality medical care to infants, children, and young people. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Pollard focuses on supporting optimal physical health and developmental outcomes for every child in her care. She works closely with parents and guardians, ensuring that families feel fully informed, reassured, and involved throughout every stage of assessment and treatment.

In her clinical practice, Dr Pollard provides comprehensive diagnosis and management across a broad range of general paediatric conditions, with specialist expertise in Paediatric Haematology. Her clinical interests encompass complex bleeding and clotting disorders, such as Von Willebrand disease, Glanzmann thrombasthenia, Bernard-Soulier syndrome, immune thrombocytopenia, and various factor deficiencies, alongside haemoglobinopathies and chronic blood conditions. She also manages paediatric respiratory disorders, infectious diseases, and long-term childhood illnesses, developing tailored, evidence-based care plans to meet each young patient's unique health needs.

Dr Pollard completed her undergraduate medical qualifications and advanced postgraduate clinical training in general paediatrics, gaining entry onto the General Medical Council Specialist Register as a Consultant Paediatrician. She maintains active professional engagement with leading paediatric bodies, including the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
