Dr Ruchi Arora

Dr Ruchi Arora is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatrician specialising in General Paediatrics, Paediatric Neurology, and Paediatric Epilepsy. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she is committed to providing comprehensive care for children and young people experiencing a wide range of acute and chronic neurological conditions. Her clinical practice focuses on delivering reassuring, high-quality medical support to families, ensuring that each child receives a tailored treatment plan designed to improve their quality of life.

In her clinical practice, Dr Arora has a particular interest in paediatric epilepsy, headaches, and post head injury neurorehabilitation. She runs specialist clinics addressing complex motor developmental difficulties, neuromuscular diseases, and movement disorders. Additionally, she is actively involved in movement assessment clinics, where she evaluates patients for potential botulinum toxin therapy, manages dystonia, and coordinates referrals for advanced interventions such as Deep Brain Stimulation and intrathecal baclofen. Her research interests further complement her clinical work, focusing on epilepsy and channelopathies to help advance the understanding of rare epilepsy syndromes.

Dr Arora completed her medical education with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and went on to obtain a Diploma in Tropical Child Health (DTCH). She completed extensive specialist training as a Paediatric Neurologist, gaining valuable experience at prestigious institutions including Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and St. Mary's Hospital Paddington. Dr Arora is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She also maintains active professional affiliations with key medical bodies, including the British Paediatric Neurology Association and the Eastern Paediatric Epilepsy Network.
