Dr Richard Tozer

Dr Richard Tozer is a highly skilled Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in delivering comprehensive care for infants, children, and young people. Serving as a Lead in Paediatric Acute Care, he plays a key role in managing acute paediatric medical services and ensuring rapid, high-quality interventions for critically ill or acutely unwell children. Dr Tozer is deeply committed to clinical safety, patient welfare, and quality improvement, working tirelessly to establish robust care standards and foster safe clinical environments.

Dr Tozer completed his medical degree at the University of Leeds. He holds professional status as a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), demonstrating his commitment to rigorous professional standards and ongoing clinical development. Alongside his clinical duties, Dr Tozer is actively engaged in medical education, multi-disciplinary team training, and paediatric simulation exercises designed to enhance acute clinical skills across healthcare teams.
