About The iGP - Private Doctors - Cardiff Gate

iGP is Wales' first HIW registered private GP practice. Registered in 2004, iGP has been providing private medical services to individuals and businesses across Wales and the South West for over 19 years.

iGP provides easy access to an extensive range of GP, Nursing and Consultant-led medical services in one integrated healthcare system. This integrated approach ensures you receive the highest quality diagnosis and treatments throughout our services.
Online/Remote & In-Clinic Appointments
Here at iGP we understand how difficult scheduling appointments can be in our busy lives today. We offer face-to-face, video and telephone appointments across our clinics so our appointments can be scheduled to suit your needs.
Same or Next Day Appointments
It is our aim to offer our patients an appointment on the day an enquiry is made. However, where no appointments are available, we will endeavour to offer you a suitable alternative. To ensure you have enough time with the clinician, iGP can also provide extended appointments times if requested.
Pay As You Go & Pay Monthly Options
You do not need to register with iGP as appointments are available as individual one off appointments. However, patients can spread the cost of their consultations, as well as many other benefits by becoming registered My iGP members.

Really positive experience with Prof Uzun and the whole IGP team from start to finish. The whole process was professional, reassuring and straightforward. He and the supporting nurse were absolutely lovely with my son and made what could have been quite an unsettling experience feel calm and comfortable. Everything was explained clearly and we felt really well looked after. I’m so glad we chose to have the echocardiogram privately and would highly recommend Prof Uzun to anyone looking for a paediatric cardiac assessment.
Have regularly seen Dr Hlaing at the Sancta Maria who is always amazing and recently saw Dr Genedy at Cardiff Gate for an emergency appointment who was exactly the same - extremely professional and equally personable. All of my interactions with every member of IGP staff are always effortless and efficient. Great team.

I had booked a Standard + health check and found the receptionist and nurse extremely polite and helpful. The reception and treatment room were very clean.
Seen very quickly and listened to in a very professional manner. Examination was very thorough and all procedures explained. Questions from myself and accompanying daughter were answered clearly and descriptive. A comfortable atmosphere throughout.
I attended a medical assessment for renewal of insurance. When I arrived I was greeted nd attended to promptly.
