Dr Joanna Longstaffe established iGP in 2004. She had been a partner in an NHS GP practice for 10 years prior to that, working and teaching regularly in the local A&E department.
She is a very experienced and well respected GP who believes strongly in an holistic approach to primary care. She is trained in Forensic Medicine, Minor Surgery and Aesthetic procedures- which she has been undertaking for the past 20 years. Dr Longstaffe has also worked as a Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Governance Lead for a major company, advised Spire Hospital on their Medical Advisory Committee for over 10 years and currently sits on the Quality & Safety Committee at St Joseph’s Hospital in Newport.
She recently undertook a post graduate course in Swansea Business School in Value Based Health & Care.
