I didn’t have a negative experience with the consultant except that he disclosed the result of the procedure to my relative in front of other patients and staff in a busy waiting area. My relative noticed other people staring and this was clearly not appropriate. This should be handled more professionally in a private room.
A very quiet man he listened to what I had to say he came to me just before my procedure and then walked me down to theatre
