Professor Bruce is fantastic, he explains things well and in detail. My child had issues with ear infections and has now had grommets fitted which have worked wonders.

Professor Bruce has been fantastic with our 3 year old, from initial consultation, the survey and the post opp appointment. He put our mind at ease over our concerns and guided us through each process calmly. We are extremely grateful for the swift diagnosis and operation shortly after. Also, to mention he has a wonderful practice manager in Chloe that helped arrange everything super smoothly no matter the hurdle.

Prof Bruce recently diagnosed and operated on our 2-yr old little boy for glue ear, he underwent adenoidectomy and grommet insertion. The care we received was fantastic from start to finish (clinic, surgery and post op). Everything was clearly explained, Prof. Bruce was lovely at every step of the way - as were all of the staff at The Spire. And the surgery was a success with no complications. Thank you!

Excellent service and care, we couldn't have asked for more!

I have previously used Mr Bruce who operated on my daughter 3 years ago for grommets and I have recently visited him again with both my children! My youngest daughter had been complaining of being unable to breath through her nose which started impacting her daily life, after visiting several other medical professionals they disagreed that anything was wrong as she had previously had adenoidectomy and wanted her to have therapy as they thought it was all in her head. I took a 6 hour round trip to see Mr Bruce who quickly diagnosed enlarged adenoids that required surgery, within 6 weeks she had the surgery and is back to full health. My eldest daughter had long complained of sore throats daily and been treated for Tonsilitus with many rounds of antibiotics, I decided to go get a second opinion, so took another 6 hour round trip to Mr Bruce and he treated her for acid reflux and we’ve had no issues since! This man is totally amazing, he is understanding, kind and caring and simply amazing and calm with children, he put both my girls at ease when they were nervous about visiting and any tests etc being carried out. When my daughter had surgery, she was terrified but Mr Bruce listened to her worries and put her at ease and most importantly made her feel important and included her in everything that was happening (she particularly liked playing with his wiggly scope) He really is worth his weight in gold and as a family we cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for our girls health.

Professor Bruce instantly put us at ease as parents, and our daughter, with his extremely calm and caring persona. He quickly used his experience to recognise our daughter’s symptoms and provide necessary investigation there and then. Professor Bruce explains things in a very structural way, that is easy to understand. He is also very good at showing empathy for the family.
