“Professor Iain was really informative and friendly from the first time we met. He seemed to understand straight away what my daughter was struggling with and gave us a clear way forward. I came out feeling happy that we had some concrete answers. The procedure and follow up process was faultless and professor Iain was great at assisting with our concerns. “

My 9 year old child had pinnaplasty surgery recently due to feeling increasingly self conscious about the appearance of their ears. Professor Bruce explained the procedure very clearly during the consultation, the nursing staff at the hospital were brilliant and very reassuring and the results are absolutely fantastic! My child is so happy with how the ears look now and did not experience any problems at all with healing. I cannot thank Professor Bruce enough, would highly recommend him to anybody else considering this surgery for their child.

Professor Bruce was excellent when helping diagnose my son with enlarged adenoids, tonsils and glue ear (the glue ear we had no idea about). After months of misdiagnoses with other consultants this was a relief. He was quick to identify the issues and was very empathetic and straightforward to deal with. We have met with one or two other consultants who were not as thorough and misdiagnosed the issues and delayed us getting the right treatment, so we felt relived to find Professor Bruce listened to our concerns, and our son received the right treatment and surgery. We are delighted with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend him for anyone with ENT issues.

I highly recommend Professor Iain Bruce. I travelled down to Manchester from Fife in Scotland specifically to have him treat my son Lee. Lee has a very complex health history from a childhood malignant brain tumour and Professor Bruce came very highly recommended from an ENT consultant in Fife. He had surgery to have a cochlear implant fitted in mid August 22 and Iain was fantastic. I felt 100% confident in putting him in charge of Lee's care and knew that throughout the whole process every consideration was given to Lee.

We had an excellent experience with Professor Iain Bruce, my husband had taken her to all her previous appointments so I only met him on the day of my daughter's operation and his bedside manner was brilliant and he made me feel at ease. He was patient with us with all our questions before the operation and at our follow up appointment.
