Dr Pradeesh Mappa is a Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert and compassionate care for children and young people. He focuses on the diagnosis, management, and ongoing care of a broad range of general paediatric conditions as well as specialised childhood health concerns. Dr Mappa is dedicated to supporting families through clear communication, empathetic clinical guidance, and individualised treatment plans designed to reassure parents and protect the well-being of young patients.

Dr Mappa completed his primary medical education in India before undertaking postgraduate medical training in the United Kingdom. He completed the majority of his higher specialist paediatric training within the Severn deanery, which included 18 months of dedicated training in paediatric cardiology. He attained his Certificate of Completion of Training in 2013, earning full recognition as a specialist in paediatrics.

In his day-to-day practice, Dr Mappa manages both acute paediatric presentations and long-term health conditions in children and adolescents. His primary area of clinical expertise is paediatric cardiology, with a focus on evaluating congenital heart disease and paediatric cardiac health. Working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams, Dr Mappa remains committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care, patient safety, and medical education.
