Dr Peter Christian

Dr Peter Christian is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care for infants, children, and young people. Focusing on general and acute paediatric care, he works closely with families to deliver personalised treatment plans that support each child's growth, health, and development. His reassuring and empathetic approach ensures that young patients and their parents feel well-supported at every stage of their healthcare journey.

Dr Christian completed his foundational medical training at Imperial College London, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007. Demonstrating his dedication to clinical excellence in child health, he attained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2012. He later pursued post-graduate academic study at the University of Southampton, earning a Master of Science degree in Diabetes Best Practice in 2020.

In his clinical practice, Dr Christian has developed expertise across a broad range of paediatric services, with particular interests in acute paediatric care, paediatric emergency medicine, paediatric diabetes, and paediatric cardiology. He is also deeply engaged in clinical education, including paediatric resuscitation training and in-situ simulation, and takes an active role in establishing effective transition pathways for young people moving from paediatric services into adult healthcare.
