About Miss Patsy Florent

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel difficult, and it is completely understandable that you feel unsure or nervous.  You don't need to have everything worked out before reaching out.  My role is to listen, support, and help you feel at ease as you try to figure things out.  Together we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.  I have almost 15 years' experience supporting people with a range of concerns including anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, and relationship/friendship difficulties, loss and bereavement, life changes/tranisitons, emotional wellbeing, confidence, identity, and challenges affecting young people and adolescents.

Whether you are an adult seeking support for yourself or a parent or carer looking for help for your young person, therapy can offer a chance to feel heard, less alone, and better able to make sense of what might be going on for you. You don't have to face things on your own...  My years of experience have taught me that we are social beings; we do not heal in isolation.
