About Sanctuary Lodge
Recovering from substance addiction can be a daunting process, especially amid the chaos of our fast-paced world. Situated in Halstead, Essex, our facility takes into account these pressures and is surrounded by nature to provide that added tranquillity during your stay.

Our facility
Our centre has a variety of facilities to ensure your comfort, including:
- Nineteen en-suite bedrooms.
- Five beautifully refurbished shared rooms
- Scenic gardens to reconnect with nature
- An in house gym
- Qualified chefs preparing fresh ingredients and nutritionally balanced meals
What we treat
Our centre treats all addictions, ranging from drug and alcohol rehabilitation to behavioural addictions such as:

Everybody is unique, and while one person might respond to a particular course of treatment, this may not be the case for another. We incorporate a range of different treatments, allowing each client to explore the methods that work for them, integrating mind, body, and spirit into your treatment programme. The staff are professional and authoritarian but this is much required; however they are kind and supportive at all times. I have gained skills for my recovery that will help me when I’m in meetings and these tools will aid me through life. We are here for serious reasons but the bonds we build with other peers are enjoyable and helpful for recovery.

My personal experience is mostly 5 stars. The only change I would make is to be able to share my life story in front of everyone rather than just my own group.

My visit was more than I expected it to be in a great way, the people are friendly and supportive and do not judge you. The understanding of an addict is what was needed Therapy was so good and informative, I will take these skills away with me

I can’t speak highly enough in regard to SL, the experience has started a new life for me and I will always appreciate what this place has done. My therapist was Kat and it’s the only therapist that I think I would ,listen too and ever will. This is my third rehab and the first one I have taken seriously and given 100%! This place works in my opinion!
