About Mr Patrick Gordon
Mr Gordon is a consultant Urologist and Andrologist (Mens health specialist relating to the penis and genitals) at Leeds NHS trust, based at St James Hospital and honorary senior lecturer at the University of Leeds. This is the only andrology department in Yorkshire where he runs the regional service with two other consultant colleagues, as well as training the next generation of andrologists through their andrology fellowship. As with his NHS practice Mr Gordon offers general urology advice and treatments alongside his Andrology practice.
His has particular interests in the following areas:

Qualifications
Mr Gordon started his medical training in London studying at Kings College London gaining his medical degree as well as BSc in Physiology. His houseman jobs took him to the Southwest where he started his general surgical training. His specialist Urology training took him to Yorkshire where he settled as a consultant Urologist in the largest NHS Trust in England, Leeds. He has gained further specialist andrology experience by completing fellowships in both Leeds and at the world-famous Institute of urology at UCL, London. Here he honed his subspeciality interests in male factor infertility, complex genital reconstruction and penile implants under Professor David Ralph. He has also undergone additional training in fertility management of spinal cord injury males at the University of Miami.

I was recommended to see Mr Gordon after visiting several specialists previously. Mr Gordon is by far the best consultant I have ever seen. Very patient, very thorough and explained exactly what he thought was wrong. He has ordered various tests and finally it feels like something is being done. My problem has been ongoing since October 2025. Highly recommend this consultant.
I was diagnosed with a hydrocele which had increased in size over two to three years and was beginning to affect my quality of life. Mr Gordon suggested surgery which took place at Nuffield hospital Leeds. Throughout the consultation, day of surgery and post op check Mr Gordon was professional and reassuring, and clearly explained the surgery and recovery. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Gordon for this type of surgery.
This is the first doctor I’ve visited in 3 years who has an understanding of anabolics and the effects that come from these but also the understanding to why certain protocols are used. Not just black listing you straight away. I cannot recommend him enough.
All made very straightforward and easy. Everything healed up super fast.
