Dr Crossey began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry before graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Queen's University Belfast in 1992. During his undergraduate studies, he was awarded a Nuffield Scholarship for research into pain transmission. Following his graduation, he pursued extensive postgraduate education, completing a year-long programme in Dental Implantology and attaining membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons by examination. His professional standing and commitment to clinical excellence are further reflected in his past service as Northern Ireland Secretary for the British Dental Association, his work as a Clinical Teaching Assistant, and his tenure as an Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
