Dr Oliver Leach

Dr Oliver Leach is a Consultant Neurologist who provides comprehensive clinical care and diagnostic evaluations for patients with conditions affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems. He approaches neurological health with professionalism and empathy, focusing on delivering clear explanations, reassuring patient guidance, and tailored management plans to support each individual's ongoing health.

Within his clinical practice, Dr Leach covers a wide spectrum of neurological sub-specialties and clinical interests. His expertise includes managing neuroinflammatory diseases such as multiple sclerosis, as well as peripheral nerve and neuromuscular disorders. He routinely assesses patients presenting with headache disorders including migraine, cognitive disorders such as dementia, and neurogenetic conditions. Furthermore, Dr Leach treats individuals experiencing epilepsy, functional neurological disorder (FND), and movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease.

Dr Leach completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Edinburgh, graduating with distinction in 2007 alongside an intercalated Bachelor of Science in Physiology. He subsequently earned a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Oxford, completing research focused on functional genomics. Dr Leach undertook his specialist higher clinical training in neurology across the South West of England. He is a member of the Association of British Neurologists and maintains an ongoing involvement in clinical research.
